Ha! No. I phoned the big Methodist Church in Alsager and asked if I could look inside the closed one so as to take photos. Just waiting for someone to call me to arrange a time.

Yes, it would make a good-sized house after conversion, which I'm sure is what will happen

I assume you had no response from Wesley Place? Who did you contact? I am the key holder for Hassall Road and would happily let you in to take pictures inside, it is mostly still intact as a church inside, minus the removable furniture which was donated to other churches in the area!
The church is currently rented to the local high school for music projects one day a week and at the moment there are no plans to put it on the market until the market has picked up, or at least this was the last plan i heard.
Send me a PM and i will arrange a time to meet you at the church if you wish to look inside.

I spoke to Reverend S******* twice on the phone, the second time was last Thursday evening as I'd previously asked him if I could look inside on the Friday. He said he'd try and arrange for a keyholder to let me in but I've never heard back from him.
