The following photos were all taken on Friday August 26th 2011.

The backboard behind the cross can be removed, creating a gallery.

The pulpit came from Lightmoor Methodist Church.

At the rear of the chapel is what would have been the vestry.

Such a shame these places are closing - supply and demand I suppose!

And I found out that another church in the Telford Circuit is closing later this year - Madeley - so I'll have to try to pay that a visit soon too.

Been making hotel bookings and working out my September holiday schedule which is why I had 'September' on the brain!

The Order of Service from the last-but-one service at Stirchley Methodist Church on Sunday August 21st 2011 and the souvenir bookmark produced for the occasion.

To the left of the church used to be two houses - one for the caretaker and one for the choir master, the area now being grassed. The gentleman who showed me round the church used to collect the rents from the two houses every month.
