The following message was sent to you via the Midlands Heritage Forum Contact Us form by alfie bewick ( mailto:******@**********.com ).

    --------------------------------

Was looking at the pictures, my mother worked there , she used to drive a kind of electric trolly that was driven standing on the front pulling a few trailers. We left featherstone when I was about six, to go home to the north, I was born at 71 north terrace, my brother died in the same house he was six months, I was two. mother could not stay in that house after that, so we got rooms of mr&mrs beadsmore on the corner of south cresent, I se its up for sale, I also went to that school, se its still there.
I am 72 now and was 16 when I last visited my family, not many of them left now.I remember a family called menzies, don't know if its spelt that way. kind regards, Alfie bewick.

Don't they have trollies like that at airports, when baggage is taken across the tarmac to the planes? I'm sure I've seen them in use somewhere
