Default Derelict Petrol Station - Nr Newtown (Wales)

I passed this place on the A489 loads of times during the summer and with our esteemed photo competition in mind thought I would investigate. Sadly I was chased off after a few minutes by a burly and extraordinarily hairy Welsh farmer type dude who seemed to hate motorcyclists. Sorry, no internal pics.
I then realised I had missed the cut-off date for entry to the comp..........doh

Daft as it sounds, I'm sure I've seen this. I used to head down to Machynlleth this way and onto Tywyn to the caravan!

Your pic is doing very well...I wouldn't worry about entering another!

Ahhh...I know this place.

Many years ago (40+) we pulled in here in the Zephyr and my dad, not intending to be patronising said to the the attendant....

" Bore da, four gallons please" in a really bad welsh accent.

Still makes me laugh.
