had a look at this deep shelter on saturday, very nice and clean, not to chavved, look after by an airsoft team

looks a great place to explore strange place for a public shelter though , so far from the town Ill remember to bring along my M4 if i get to visit here

Maybe it was one of those shelters that were reserved for civil servants etc.? Or maybe for preservation of documents during WWII?

i heard from someone it held quite a few hundred locals, its only a few hundred yards from the town centre opposite some right nice houses

how deep would you say it is?

this is the entrance, you just walk down a small ravine/valley, about 2 mins from car park, there are no notices for obvious reasons
