Default Fitzpatrick's Temperance Bar,Rawtenstall,Lancashire

Reputedly the last temperance bar in the UK (although there's now a Muslim pub in Oldham which is teetotal).

Oh yes! Just because I haven't been online doesn't mean I've had my feet up. Today was catch-up time

A few more photos from around the Rawtenstall area.

Rossendale brings back memories...went to a free festival (Deeply Vale) there in the late seventies
Not particularly welcomed by the local farmers or the boys in blue. But hey, I was only 18.
Never even heard of these sculptures before so thanks for enlightening me Might be worth a trip up there.

I looked at the Burnley 'Singing Ringing Tree'. How eerie is that??? Very cool though. I know what to do with all that leftover 3" Sch 40 petrochemical tube at work now. Sculptures in my back garden!

Where's my welding torch???

It sounds eerie too!

I think that will be on my agenda for my next day out later this month.
