    Subject: church on Town Road
    Hello *********,
I'm getting lots of people asking me about the Church renovation on Town Road, Hanley. We are seeing a lot of work going on, just wondering if you know what eventually will be happening with that building?
    Regards,

Are we talking about St. John's?
This is a grade 2* listed church owned by S**** L******. He has planning permission and listed building consent to turn it into a restaurant. He is currently repairing the roof and tower. We are talking about finding heritage funding for a bell ringing centre seeing as how the planning committee refused consent recently to give the bells to Stone.
    Any detailed questions ?

Has anyone got any detailed questions ??????????? There is a lot of scaffolding up & I honestly cant see it being turned into a restaurant, unless anyone else can shed light ?

From what I read a couple of years ago the front of the building will become the restaurant entrance with the big central window supposedly being moved to one side. I would imagine the inside will be gutted completely

I'd heard similar B, the painted glass window at the front was to be moved inside, so protected but still visible. Having been inside a couple of years ago I would imagine it would have to be gutted due to its condition

This seems a little disjointed to me... who asked the question and who replied?

also, who is this directed at?

I was also going to say that someone off my twitter had been on about it, which seemed spooky, so I then checked the user account and realised they were one and the same person
