Default Parkers Fine Ale, Shelton, SoT

Hidden away in the back streets is this ad from the Parker's Brewery, founded in 1860 & taken over by a larger rival in 1949.

What a great find, oildrum. I wonder if the museum in Hanley would be interested in putting on a photo display of the ghost ads we've found in the city?

from my experiences of the staff at the Potteries Museum it would be a better if we attempted to somehow save them from further deterioration. Have spotted one to photograph in Fenton but its in poor condition, hopefully post soonish.

There's a very long one along the side of a building on King Street as you go towards Longton. I can't work out how to photograph it effectively

Right-hand side. There's a big yard and the ad is on the left as you enter the yard

Thumbs up Re: Parkers Fine Ale, Shelton, SoT

The one I'm after is on the left, but I've spotted another on the right which may be the one you mention. Hoping to take a few pics of both tomorrow (weather permitting )
