Well, they've tried to create a parklike feel to most of the cemetery by removing the smaller gravestones and leaving the larger memorials but have left the rest overgrown. Although the grass and hedges are kept tidy the place has a sad and neglected* feel about it; where there was a chapel was presumably where a garden dedicated to Sister Dora, a 19th century nurse who did a lot of good work for the poor and the working class of Walsall, was created. If I found the right spot there's no plants left now (and I couldn't see any other evidence of a garden area in the cemetery).
* Perhaps more a case of the people of Walsall neglecting it than the council. How about a Friends of Queen Street Cemetery being formed?
The site of the chapel/garden?
