    Default Hammersmith Palais

A big punk venue in the 70s and featured in a song by The Clash.

    Good info here
Hammersmith Palais - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The caption to the ghost ad photo is correct as it goes but doesn't point out that the rear of the Palais was right next to Hammersmith Underground station (Metropolitan Line). I think it might have been painted over now

    Question Re: Hammersmith Palais

Sure there was a "Palais De Danse" in Nottingham in the late 70's, wonder if there were more?

Interestingly the Palaise de Dance was built on the site of the old House of Correction.
