Thread: Personal Message

Many thanks to everyone who have marked up "reputation marks" or whatever they are, on various postings of mine during the year.

I presume they were meant as a compliment,but even if not i can surely get recomends for work on the Mr.Nasty modelling agency to go with my scary tattoos (did I mention them when applying for the job of decent and homely cinema and theatre specialist?)

History is so much of a precious subject; it got to us to where we are, and it made us a profit or it made us a pauper. Nevertheless, we would not be here without it. My avatar on SkyscraperCity reads "Don't let people take away your history, or they will take away your future". The past might be embarrasing for some, a source of pride for others; but most important we learn from it.

Thanks to the Moderators here for their service,and in particular the red-pencil which they think I have not seen in their editing. I wish them,and you all, a special year which is forthcoming this New Years Eve-and history in action!!

I thought at first that you were advertising 'Personal Massage'.

History and geography were my favourite subjects at school; well, here I can still keep learning and also share my enjoyment - I hope that comes across in my posts. What a wonderful country England is. So much has changed BUT so much still remains from the past and it should be cherished.
