Default Some Wolverhampton streets - where were they?

A piece of sporting trivia I remember hearing many years ago was that the players in Wolverhampton Wanderers' F.A. Cup final winning team of 1893 all had then-recently built streets in Wolverhampton named after them. Below are the eleven players but where were the streets? The only possibilities are Griffin Street, off Willenhall Road, and Wood Street in Fallings Park/Park Village, off Cannock Road.

Rose, Baugh, Swift, Malpass, Allen, Kinsey, Topham, Wykes, Butcher, Wood, Griffin

Wood Street is shown (admittedly in dotted form, but with the name on the map) in the 1889 OS map, so that rules that one out. Griffin St does seem to appear between 1889 and 1902 (though it is not named on the 1902 map)

Definitely not Smethwick! Malpas is spelt differently but perhaps the spelling changed over the years.

Maybe it's just an urban myth that they all had streets named after them?

Malpas walk in wolverhampton was open space till at least the 1960s, adn Rose St,wednesfield (whatever google says i say bradley, or bilston, not wednesfield) was there on te map in 1889, so again predating win.

A thought occurs to me - could it be that rather than streets it was terraces that were named after the players? Sometimes, when you pass a block of terraced houses, you can look up and, across the centre of the block, see something like 'Victoria Terrace' and the date of construction.

    ...And this also...........

Flicking through the pages of history it can be seen that the nineteenth century drew to a close with the midlands, east and west, showing its power. Here were Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aston Villa (twice), County and Nottingham Forest collecting the prize, with West Bromwich Albion, Wolves again, and Derby County (twice) being runners‑up between 1893 and 1899. That Wolves' victory of 1893 was their first success and to mark it there stands to this day in Wolverhampton a memorial.

A speculative builder, purchasing the Dudley Road ground (the home of the club before its move to Molineux), built on the site several rows of houses and called them Fallowfield Terrace. Fallowfield was the stadium of the Manchester Athletic Club where the final was played temporarily, following the refusal of the Surrey County Cricket Club any more to permit football on the Kennington Oval Pitch. Surmounting the gate‑posts of each house of that terrace ‑ each one of which is named after a member of that Wolves' team ‑ there stands a replica of the Cup in stone.
The birth of the twentieth century brought something fresh. The year 1901 saw Tottenham Hotspur at last bring back the Cup to the south for the first time in 20 years and they did so as members of the Southern League, a unique distinction which is unlikely ever to be equalled again. Beyond that, too, The Crystal Palace ground itself at Sydenham created a world record with a crowd of 110,820. Never before had such an attendance gathered for a match anywhere.

    FA Cup Finals

I also read that there was a Street/Road named after 'Butcher', but the street was removed when extension works were carried out at the Moleniux (Wolves ground)

    Berenice.
Supposedly between 329 and 330 there is/was a representation of the cup, though Ii can't quite work out from google where it was. But near it there is Wanderers Avenue, which has plaques on some of the houses (nos 2-19) naming the players. there are also a number of otherplaques , some ex-Wanderers players, the chairman, and others, possibly members of the building firm (perhaps they thought some of th egreatness would rub off on them). Of the players I can only definitely read no 18 , Wykes on streetview , but if you go down the road I am sure you will be able to see better. This is all from Wanderers Avenue | Svenskafans.com . Google do a surprisingly good translation - I was very impressed, compared to a machine translation Of a page I saw a while ago)
