Yea its a great story, wonder how many more lakes out there with tanks in, and in one piece.

This tank is in superb condition, obviously preserved by peat-forming conditions and good quality paint.

A chap I know, who was based in Germany with the British army, told me that there are several tanks to be found submerged on a tank training ground where drivers have gone off the proper track and ended up in peat bog!
