The rumour I've heard is that the pub will be demolished and houses built on the site

Oh my....

I know this pub well - the landlady was fabulous and she had a great crowd. No doubt the usual reasons are to blame again

We are losing so many of these great buildings - and the character of our towns is slowly being erased.

The pub and car park have been fenced off in the last few days. Demolition to start next week?
