Offa's Dyke Brewery, Trefonen, Shropshire

It seems that the beers produced are only available on tap at the Adjoining pub, the Barley Mow Inn, but it doesn't open lunchtimes, Monday-Friday, so I was unable to try a glass; they do bottle some of their beers but, according to the brewery's website, these are only available at the brewery itself (closed when I was there but a contact phone number is provided) or at a wholesaler in Oswestry. The shop in Trefonen didn't have any Offa's Dyke beers (out of stock?) but did have some Stonehouse Brewery, Oswestry, bottled beers for sale

Looks like an ideal place for a MH get-together, but only if the pub and brewery are open!!

I had a great time driving round the area. Lots of 'lost' railway lines and a couple of heritage railway societies.

I'd be up for a return visit if anyone else would like a day out over that way
