    Talking Re: Old agricultural vehicle

    Easy!

The road between Coalville and Hinkley, the A447. just outside a farm. There is also a few old farm trailers next to it. Hard to miss really.

..you tried and a big 'thank-you' for doing so.

Of course, it may have been removed, along with the other vehicles. Times are hard for all and i'd imagine that for the rightful owner, the scrap value of a few heavy farm vehicles would be a temptation.

I really hope that that is not the case as it would be such a shame (understatement) and loss but at least you managed to document the situation first. Fullest of respect for both the original photographs and for returning and trying to find it/them .

nope. tried there! lol. i must have already forgot when i posted that ! duh! i'm not beat yet iceman, it might have been when i was on my way back from Coleshill boys home, i know i was out exploring at the time when i stumbled upon it... so when i've got nothing better to do i'll go a drive over and have another search. I definatley didnt find the layby it was in so i dont think it has been removed. I;d really like to see it again and see what what changes the last 6 months have brought, all the green would have grown around it and in it, in my imagination it looks fantastic! lol

Good man. It seems you have your teeth firmly on the bit there. Keep-up the good fight

...mine too It'll not stay as good for long though, i'd imagine the winter/autumn will change the picture quite dramatically.

If i may be so bold as to ask. If it's ok, could you pm me a few days before you go because, transport depending, (my car's in at the garage awaiting a new radiator to be fitted at the moment) i'd like to accompany you. Of course if you prefer a solo trip then there'll be no hard feelings, strangers can be a pain sometimes
