    From memory,this place has been closed for over 10 years - amazing that it hasn't been cleared yet.

    Hobbler. you asked what I was thinking...Looks railwayish to me so wondered if it was a siding to the Oakamoor - Froghall line just by the closed tunnel?

    Probably wrong though.

    Thats interesting - thank you .

    I have had a look at the kilns at Consall and Froghall but have never been to Oakamoor - one to put on the list to visit I think.
