    Default Cobbled streets/ alleyways

I am a keen amateur photographer and looking to photograph cobbled streets like the alleyways we used to call 'the entry'.......which are a feature at the rear of terraced homes.......does anyone know of any traditional, old fashioned style cobbled alleyways I could photograph.....The only one of its type I know of is Short Street in Longton, but its looking unsightly at the moment and difficult to photograph........thanks.....Greg

I'll look some up when I get back to the UK. Offhand, I can think of a very short stretch of cobbles off Bucknall New Road

There are one or two off Princes Road (Hartshill/Penkhull) and at least one off nearby Richmond Street. These are just entries and side alleys, there are no back-to-backs left anymore although the below might be called so. Looks like it was cobbled but now partly tarmacadamed over. It's off Montrose Street, Fenton

There's also Red Lion Passage, off Broad Street (Hanley/Shelton)

The only place I can think of that's quite local to me is Corn Hill in Wolverhampton.
That's if it hasn't been covered in tarmac... A google maps search turns up this.

Just to add, at the bottom of Corn Hill is the Great Western pub. Which is at the Junction with Bailey St.

    Looking Down Bailey St.

& looking up Bailey Street from the bottom of Corn Hill, with the Great Western pub on the left.
