hi folks,i am new on here so please go easy..i am a keen infrared photographer and was amazed at the derelict cottage photo's at shelsley kings.i intend to find this place and see it.however i have to cycle from worcester and would be very grateful if anyone would give me a bigger clue as to where this building is in shelsley kings.i would make photographs available for free to the person who is able to point me in the right direction..regards.Peter

well i found the place.after two days looking.those woods at shelsley kings are very water logged with all this recent rain..not to mention surrounding fields.i tok a lot of pictures and even managed to get a shot of the "upstairs" complete with double bed.feels a bit sad there.that anyone could live in such a strange place.anyway i bet when the cottage was in it's prime it was a different story.i will try and post pics on here.

Well done on finding this one as it is an isolated location to find. Despite there being a number of designated footpaths right by it, many are so overgrown that they virtually unrecognisable as a footpath. One of them also goes through someones garden, which is always a bit unnerving! To date I have only approached from the West and was wondering whether you approached it from the East and how easy it was.

I found that the stairs were too dangerous to reach the top and I only managed to reach up and take a picture of the main bedroom through the doorway. It is strange to see the bed fully made up with all the blankets still on it in a semi derelict building.

Look forward to seeing the piccies.
