    Default Bradley St, Uttoxeter

    Hi There

I wonder if anyone can help. I am in my seventies, and attended Bradley Street CoE infants and junior school, in Uttoxeter, in the late 40's early fifties. As part of my attempts to connect with my past, I have been finding and contacting friends from those days, not easy, but I've found a few. What I am having a problem with is photo's of the school, which was demolished about 1970. I've found some of the street, but any that contain the school are from the side and at a distance, so not really very good. I have contacted Staffordshire library and the William Salt library, but they don't have any full on photo's of the school. So if anyone has any photos of the school, or pupils at that time, or knows where there are any, could they please let me know? I would be eternally grateful.
In the meantime I'm really enjoying reading the forum, it has quite a few articles close to my heart.

    All the best

Hey up matey, thank you very much for that, unfortunately, that posting and those photo's are mine, posted some time ago, but your hard work is much appreciated. The photo's were actually taken by my sister in law, saddly no longer with us, when she was a teacher at the school, about the same time as I was there.

    All the best
