Loka Castle and museum, Slovenia
Beautiful old town of Skofa Loka, wonderful scenery and an interesting museum.
   In the grounds you'll find an old hayrack  and an even older sleigh  As you walk from room to room you see different aspects of life in the castle, town and surrounding area through the centuries   Medieval Madonna and child   A copy of a 15th century fresco, the original is in a local church - it shows what will happen to those who waste their Sundays by working or playing

The largest display is devoted to the Partizan campaign against occupying German forces and the armed struggle by left-wingers pre-WWII.
