Does anybody have any photos of the old West Heath Lido buildings?
I worked there (Eddystone Radio) from 78 to 85 and can only find one photo of the building as it was then and only a few of the original leisure complex.
It is now a housing estate.

What road is it on, Hawkmoon? My wife's family have been based around there for years, so might have some photo's.......
It was on Alvechurch Road opposite Carrs Paints. It had a large car park out the front and Eddystone Radio was on the left bottom and Laughtons bottom right.
Prior to being factories it was one of the UK's largest Leisure comlexes complete with Swimming Pool, Sun Terraces (haha) and a giant ballroom which became the works canteen.
Would be great to see some photos.

Hi Colin
Indeed I have seen that link and posted a few months ago. I worked for Chris and his predecessor Bill Cook. Served my apprenticeship at Eddystone and have many fond memories.

As a child I went to that complex with my family, usually at 'Bank Holiday' weekends.Prior to being factories it was one of the UK's largest Leisure comlexes complete with Swimming Pool,
My sister and I got very sunburned one time and had to have Calamine lotion plastered all over us when we got home.
