    BIRCHAM John (memorial has J, Merchant Navy) CWGC has the following. John William, Leading Steward, C/LX23359, H.M.S. Eskimo, Royal Navy, died 12th July 1943. Son of George and Agnes and husband of Lilian Rachel Bircham of Bristol. Commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial, Kent
    HANCOCK Laurence, Sergeant Pilot, 977649, 35 Squadron Royal Air Force died 30th June 1941 aged 21. Son of George and Mararet Isabel of Bishopston, Bristol. Buried at Kiel War Cemetery, Germany
    SYMONS John H, Able Seaman D/BD/X1749, H.M.S. Wizard, Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve died 10th June 1944 aged 25. Son of Henry Herbert and Gertrude Olive Symons of Bristol. Buried at Lyness Royal Naval Cemetery, Orkney
    TIMMS Ralph Thomas (Memorial has R.R.) Sergeant Wireless Operator/Air Gunner 1153718, 10th Squadron, Royal Air Force died 8th August 1941 aged 30 Son of Arthur L. and Olivia M. Timms, of Bristol, husband of Essie E. Timms, of Eastville, Bristol. Bass Lay Clerk, Bristol Cathedral. Buried at Kiel War Cemetery, Germany
    WRIGHT John Henry Bernard (Memorial has “J”), Sergeant Flight Engineer 106 Squadron, Royal Air Force died 3rd March 1943 aged 31. Son of Senaah and Mary Ann, husband of Hilda Josephine Wright, of Bishopton, Bristol. Buried at Kiel War Cemetery, Germany

    ASH Alfred Reginald, Private 24330, 13th Quebec Regiment, Canadian Infantry died 24th April 1915 aged 21. Son of Annie Ash nee Clarke of 68 Castle Street, Bristol and the late Alfred John Ash. Commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium
    COOPER Stanley George, Sergeant 200720, 2/5th Royal Warwickshire Regiment died 3rd December 1917. Commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial, Louverval, France

    PEARSON Stanley Osborne, 2nd Lieutenant, 12th attached to the 10th Royal Warwickshire Regiment killed in action 30th July 1916. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France
    DAVIS Frederick It may be this person Frederick Albert, Private 45611, 12th South Wales Borderers, killed in action 25th November 1917. Native of Bristol, resident in Glamorgan. Commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial, Louverval, France
    NEEDS Charles Richard, 2nd Lieutenant, Royal Flying Corps, died 27th February 1917 aged 31. Son of Edwin & Kate Needs of Bristol. Buried at Greenbank Cemetery, Bristol
    MORGAN Harold Albion, Gunner 1298, 2nd Battery, South Midland Brigade, Royal Field Artillery died 6th January 1918 aged 22. Son of Mrs Ada E Morgan of 2, St Edward’s Road, Clifton Wood, Bristol. Buried at Greenbank Cemetery, Bristol
    BIRD Ernest Walter, Captain, 1/6th Gloucestershire Regiment, died 27th July 1916 aged 27. Son of John Bird of 37, St Nicholas Street, Bristol. Buried at Gezaincourt Communal Cemetery, Extension, Somme, France
