    Nice one

Bet you didn't know that Stoke had its own drive-in too!

Think it was in the 1980's & only for a few showings, it was set up in one of the reclaimed sand quarries that make up Park Hall Country Park. Never went though- no where to put the drinks tray on my motorbike

Did you know...that the last film to star the legendary horror actor Boris Karloff was the theme of a deranged killer who potted off his victims in an American drive-in movie theater.....?

No, we stopped off to have a look when passing. The funny thing is that I was trying to take photos over the fence from near the ticket office without realising that the exit gate was open. Had a nice wander round.

What puts me off going to a drive-in movie is how late the movie starts

What a cracking idea especially with weather like we've been having lately. Except that American kids seem to be better behaved than their British counterparts and there'd be bound to be idiots who'd try to spoil things for everyone else

Too late, I'm back, safe and sound. How about a piece on the history of drive-in movie theaters, Richie? It would fit in well with this thread

I'll see if I can find a link that will do the job Berenice. I can do the extra touches like prove a theory that 90% of movies that feature drive-ins have treacherous occurrences......
