Default Camera extension

I've got a Kodak Digital CX4300 camera which I understand I can get a lead for to run it off the mains to take squillions of photos of my film collection at home here (or go bankrupt paying out for batteries).

The PC World website (I got the camera from one of their Birmingham outlets some years ago) is too bewildering to follow. How much would I expect to pay for a new one, or am I right I've spotted one on Amazon (2nd hand) at around £11-50?

Thanks.
Richie.

Even better: £1.45 - it's probably going to be a cheaper-made version, but it should work just fine for what you're using it for. Also the seller has got pretty decent feedback and someone gave them a good review for this product.

Only downside is, you'll probably have to pay about £2-3 for delivery (this is where they get you!)

I think this is the lead for downloading/ transferring pics and I donn't think it powers the camera..... I think you are looking for something like this maybe?

I'll try out every makeover nowadays. At my age anything works LOL.

Could i try out one of the connections to one of my other appliances* Paul;or might I be living dangerously?

*Mobile phone charger. Any other assumption of other appliance could lead to indignation!

---------- Post added at 03:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:54 PM ----------

i meant just the power source to get the pictures taken initially as the battery usage is diabolical. I can then hitch up to the computer automatically and process from then on*

*West Midlands Police permitting LOL

You could probably use a universal affair as long as it was rated the same (3v I'm guessing) but I'd stick with something specifically for it myself..

Question Re: Camera extension

Would a mobile phone charger have a suitable plug?

Oh yeah! When it comes to self-destruction I'm an addict!

Apparently you can only get these item new from an approved Kodak dealer. Just a seller like PC World are not authorised. A new one costs £50. Thereabouts even!!

Do I send my debit card details to Amazon for what may ever only get to £1.50 + £3.00 approx post and packing?

Maybe YP can get me one on his Goldcard for next Christmas

(Or it might have to mean a lot of serious slow walking around the West Park area)

Just get a new camera, you can get something like a Sony cybershot of 10mp+ for around a hundred quid now and the battery is rechargeable and comes with a charger and everything..
