    Its on the main traffic island in Brownhills town centre now...huge, imposing looking thing that makes you think' wooooooooahhhh' even close up. Its dedicated to all the miners of the area and I think its a lovely tribute. It does exactly what is says on the tin - none of this contemporary art tat that means nothing to normal, sane people!

    By the same artist the Castle Vale knight...

    The Vale was once a notorious estate (and I guess still holds a reputation) for being a "bit rough", however the sculpture stands proud and un-chavved and really looks the business.
    I will get that Canon IS USM F/2.8 400mm lens. Any donations accepted
