    Default Newcastle-under-Lyme Canal

    The canal was mostly filled in in 1935 but here's a section in Boothen.

    Nice one B

    I knew that Rob Pointon (local artist, also did the large painting of the Friends of Chatterley Whitfield amongst many others) was doing this, but assumed it was within the complex & not visible to the "public". Will have to have a look myself.

    It's near to Uncle Tom's Cabin, on Corporation Street.
