    Default A curious gravestone

At St Peter and St Paul's Church, Old Brampton, Derbyshire. What's happened here? The Ns in 'In' and 'Millington' are back-to-front! Those two words also look like they were cut a little deeper or sharper.

Did the stonemason leave those two words to his apprentice after he'd inscribed all the others? Did he sack the apprentice when he saw his mistakes?

It was probably a case of dyslexia except they didn't know what that was back then.
