If I remember rightly it was just a box. Can't think why I didn't take a photo.
Perhaps one of our Buxton posters could help out....
It's the usual white box with louvred sides.

A new camera Cellarman - does SWMBO know?
There is one at Thorncliffe - Leek Thorncliffe latest wind - Met Office
Also at Pershore, Coleshill, Shawbury, Church Lawford, Shobdon and Hereford Credenhill! Check out West Midlands weather forecast - Met Office for their location!
"Where's my cow? That's not my cow! It goes baa, that's a sheep" - Thud by Terry Pratchett
I've got my own realtime weather station based 500 yards away at the local high school. Gives me temperature readings, wind speeds and direction, rainfall etc, not only current but past weekly, monthly and annual records. Very handy for settling arguments down the Pub.
Wolverley CE Secondary School Weather Station
I'm sure we used have one of them at Christchurch Middle School in Stone, way back in 1975/6,wouldn't have a clue if it's still there tho.
