Hi does anyone know what these buildings were? one mind its an old church or maybe it was a pigeon roost?

Assuming that its this place-

Lawton Hall Estate

its location in relation to the hall might offer a clue... I'd suggest it was either a dovecote or a folly.... but if I was a betting man (which I'm not) I'd go for a dovecote..

The c1873 map does not seem to show a dovecote, and the only church is still fully visible on google maps. It certai ly looks a bit like the inside of a dovecote, so presumably it was already very ruined when this map was made
