    Default Lickey Hills

Ok so not old but certainly derelict.
I was out on buisness today and went to the Lickeys Hills to have lunch.
As I was leaving through the pretty classy houses on the approach road I saw this.
A lady walking her dog said it had been left over 4 years ago and no-one knows who own it. Bizarre....
I will get that Canon IS USM F/2.8 400mm lens. Any donations accepted

Sorry about the IQ but my camera has developed a bit of a focussing problem.

Fascinating looking building. And some lovely brickwork too.

Looks like whoever lived there had a bit of money.

Although not a large building it is certainly ostentatious...the grand driveway and "garage" surounded by that wall which sweeps away to the right, up a gradual incline and round to the steps which leed up to the "front door", which in turn opens into the garages attic. At the rear of the "garage" there is another room with an attic, however this has windows which open at ground level at the rear of the house. Its almost like the impossible staircase illusion.
No signs of vandalism other than the broken windows and certainly no signs of the great unwashed taking up residence.
Its location suggests a major investment was needed to build it and it looks, on face value that the owner just ran out of money. The lady I spoke to asked if I was going to buy it and start building again....haha, I was wearing a suit.

Hmmmmm... May have to sell my little house!

I love the way the window seems to peep out from that really green grass. Fab!
