I wonder just how BIG the toads are?! Actually there is one nearby here and they actually built 4 tunnels into our village bypass when it was built to allow toads to pass underneath as it crossed their breeding route.
And no, the tunnels AREN'T big enough to explore...i checked

Oh, I'm just not trying hard enough am I ?! Hmmm a compact camera on a stick? (or r/c car...hmmm) Or maybe one of those drain clean CCTV things! That should do it!
