    Default North Eastern Railway sign

    Photographed on 3.11.1991 near Hopperton,between Knaresborough and York.
    C N Wilkinson,whose name is at the bottom of the sign,was Company Secretary between 1871 and 1903. So it was at least 88 years old when I photographed it! Wonder if it's still there now?
