Surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be an online database of the UK's war memorials. This one is the best I can find but, looking at Staffordshire, there are huge gaps in the info.

Kind of related...... the vandalised church at Bushbury that I've mentioned elsewhere, has a war memorial in it....

Nice info Doug! Thanks! We see so many, and yet don't really 'see' them do we? They just drift by...there is a lovely one just up the road but I couldn't describe it properly if my life depended on it.

I am gonna take some pics this weekend and give it the respect it deserves.
