    The town's war memorials are on Field Street.











    James Henry Summerfield, Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, died 2nd August 1918.













    The South Africa War memorial tablets were moved to Field Street in 1964 from Wood Street Cemetery where they were on the memorial entrance piers.
